Born and raised in Northern California, L.A. has been an avid fan of the written word since she was young. Her favorite genre to both read and write in is fantasy, especially high fantasy. She now lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, children, cat and betta fish. 

She is in the process of editing and posting her novel Doorways on Wattpad and has a completed novel, Liquid Fire, which is actively seeking a home. 

As well as writing and being immersed in different worlds, she loves gardening and being out in nature
